Home → Manual override section lets you temporarily override the scheduled plan. An amber Manual override badge appears on Home while active.

How it interacts with the schedule

PilotWatt merges the override into today’s existing day plan — it does not wipe the rest of the day by default. Scheduled export windows are protected; confirming is required if your override would interrupt one. If FoxESS rejects a full merged schedule (errno 40257), PilotWatt may fall back to a short override push that temporarily replaces the rest of today’s inverter plan. Drift repair restores the planned schedule when the inverter drifts out of sync.

Limits

  • Force export blocked below minimum SoC (20%)
  • Force charge blocked when battery already at or above ~95%

Scheduler note

The daily scheduler still runs at 16:30 UTC and pushes tomorrow’s full-day plan. Disable the scheduler in Settings if you prefer full manual control via FoxESS.
