# Terms of Service

## Alpha programme

PilotWatt is offered as a limited alpha to up to 25 households. Features
may change, break, or be withdrawn without notice.

## Inverter control

When you enable the **smart scheduler** or use **manual override** controls,
PilotWatt sends work-mode and schedule commands to your FoxESS inverter via
the FoxESS Cloud API. You authorise PilotWatt to:

* Read live inverter, battery, and grid data
* Push daily mode schedules to your inverter
* Set temporary force export, force charge, or self-use modes when you request them

You remain responsible for your installation and for monitoring your system.
Disable the scheduler in Settings if you prefer full manual control in the
FoxESS app.

## No warranty

PilotWatt is provided **as is**. We do not guarantee savings, uptime, or
compatibility with future FoxESS or Octopus API changes.

## Your credentials

You provide API keys voluntarily. You can revoke FoxESS or Octopus access at
any time and disconnect in Settings.
