# Supported hardware

## Inverters

## Batteries

PilotWatt does not care about battery brand — only that your **FoxESS inverter** reports SoC and accepts work-mode commands via the Cloud API. FoxESS-branded packs, third-party modules, or whatever came with your install are all fine as long as the inverter integration works.

## EV chargers

## EVs

Any EV. PilotWatt optimises **when** to charge from the grid, not vehicle telemetry.
